We would like to thank the many talented photographers that have captured our work throughout the years, your work is remarkable and exhibits the very essence of what we do best, dance!  Michael Zender, Gerardo Rico, Brendan Albert, Carlos Elizalde, Carlos Medina, Holmes Pasiminio, Rafe Ali, Nick Pellow, Christian Corro, Emilio Garcia and anyone that we may have missed, thank you for your extraordinary work.

Since 2003, Ballet Folklorico Puro Mexico (BFPM) works arduously to preserve, promote and exhibit Mexican folklore within the province of Ontario, through countless multicultural events and festivals. Thanks to the dedication of its directors  and the enthusiasm of its almost 50 members, the organization has been able to maintain itself as a non-profit organization whose main objective is to offer in a professional manner, an attractive and colourful repertoire where traditional aspects are respected in each and every choreography that is executed.

Throughout their 15 year trajectory, BFPM has proudly represented Mexico in important key events within Toronto such as: The CHIN International Picnic – where they have been the only Mexican dance organization to be awarded first place within the international folklore competition- the Carassauga Festival of Cultures, The Ontario Celebration Zone, Panamania and the international pavilion at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), as well as the Day of the Dead festival organized by the Harbourfront Centre, where they captivated their audience with the program “Calaveras y Colores”.

In 2017, Ballet Folklorico Puro Mexico was selected from the best of Ontario to represent Mexico and Latin America at the the province's official Canada Day celebrations at Queens Park in Toronto for Canada 150!
